Turn solar to winter mode.  Turning the solar pump off in winter may damage the mechanical seals, pump shaft & body due to them sitting in stagnant water.

Reduce filter pump running hours and save power. Some pools will only need 50% of filtration running hours over winter and infloor cleaning hours can also be reduced.
